LET = Permit something to happen

I don't let my kids watch violent movies.
Mary's father won't let her adopt a puppy because he's allergic to dogs.

HAVE = Give someone else the responsibility to do somthing

The manager had him fill out a form.
I must have my watch repaired.

MAKE = Force or require someone to take an action

I made her cry.
The rain made the grass wet.
After Billy broke the neighbor's window, his parents made him pay for it.

GET = Convince or encourage some to do something

Don't get him talking about his illnesses.
I can't get that child to go to bed.
How can we get all the employees to arrive on time?
